How do I create a card and sign in?
Tap Build for Free on the home page or create a card. We email you a secure link to choose a password — that one step also makes your card live. After that, sign in anytime at Account with your email and password.
Can I use my card link as a bio link on Instagram or TikTok?
Yes — that's one of our favorite ways to use ScanMe. Your public page lives at a short link like scanme.sbs/yourname (Pro and VIP can pick their own slug). Paste it into Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, or LinkedIn and anyone who taps it lands on a page with your photo, social buttons, custom links, and wallet save buttons — all in one place.
Which social platforms can I add to my card?
Out of the box: Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Threads, and GitHub. You can also add up to three custom links — great for a booking page, online store, podcast, or latest post. Leave any field blank and it simply won't show on your card.
How do people save my card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
They open your card link on their phone and tap Add to Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Save to Google Wallet (Android). No app install and no account for them — your card lands next to their boarding passes and loyalty cards, ready whenever they need it.
Can I update my card after I've shared it?
Yes. Open Account → Edit card any time to change your photo, title, links, colours, or VIP layout. Your link and QR stay the same unless you change your slug (Pro and VIP). Cards already saved to Apple or Google Wallet update automatically within a few minutes.
Why isn't my card visible to visitors yet?
New cards stay hidden until you set a password using the link in your welcome email, or until you turn on Public access under Account. Until then, your link and QR won't open for visitors. Setting your password from the welcome email counts as going live — you don't need a separate activation step.
How much does it cost?
Basic is free with a small “Powered by ScanMe” line on your card. Pro is $0.99/month with 6 months free when you subscribe — no promo strip, your own branding, and a custom public link. VIP is $2.99/month — everything in Pro plus analytics, a featured banner, premium layouts, and extra theme options. VIP Plus is for teams; contact us for pricing. Upgrade or cancel from Account → Plan & billing. Basic needs no credit card.
Will I get emails about my subscription?
Yes. When you subscribe, change plans, cancel, or if a payment fails, we send a short email with a link back to Plan & billing in your account. Stripe also sends receipts to the email you use at checkout.
Does it work on every phone?
Yes. The card page works in any modern browser, on any phone or computer. Older phones that don't support Apple or Google Wallet can still tap Save contact to download a standard .vcf file that opens in any contacts app.
Can I track who views my card?
VIP and VIP Plus include an Analytics tab in your account: page views, wallet saves, QR scans, and contact downloads — all anonymous counts, not individual visitors. Basic and Pro cards work fully; they just don't show the analytics dashboard.
How do I delete my card?
Go to Account → Password, scroll to Delete card, enter your password, type DELETE, and confirm. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first under Plan & billing. This permanently removes your card, uploads, and analytics. Need help? Email support@scanme.sbs.
What data do you collect?
Only what you put on your card (name, title, contact details, links, optional photos) plus anonymous view counts. We never sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't use third-party cookies. See our Privacy policy for details.
